Julia Champion
Julia is one of the most well known agents in the industry for television presenters and television experts, with 26 years experience in talent management. During this time she has worked for several of the UK's largest and most established agencies. Most recently, she has been working as Senior Artist Manager at James Grant Management, focusing on Specialist Factual and News Presenters and before this was Senior Agent at both NCI Management and The Roseman Organisation, developing the TV careers of household names, including Kate Garraway, Kaye Adams and Fiona Phillips.
Alongside managing presenters, Julia has also held senior positions in publicity and PR for TV celebrities with books, DVDs or programmes to promote and for businesses and charities looking to increase their profile.
As well as strong connections with TV commissioners from all major broadcasters and key people in production companies, Julia has strong links with the press and has managed to secure her clients freelance writing work and regular columns in magazines and newspapers in areas ranging from astrology to health and fitness, agony and even sex and relationships! She has also negotiated several book and pantomime deals.
Julia also has a huge number of contacts in the corporate world and has set up work for her clients doing personal appearances and speaking engagements, hosting awards ceremonies and conferences and presenting corporate videos.
Before becoming an agent, Julia worked as a Senior Producer and Producer for both the BBC and independent companies.
